If the internet goes down you can’t spend it. So it’s not the same emergency store of value over the long term in case of war unless you planning to flee. But you could give your key to your wife and child and they could flee and spend it where they go. It is good for cross boarder transactions and if your current government is failing. But I never saw a spike I use when the Ukrainian refugees left? However the network is not big enough yet so maybe if it’s more widely adopted. I like gems
