In this podcast, QTR talks about media hyping IPOs and why watching the Spotify and Alibaba IPOs made him sick to his stomach. He talks about how private financing is looking, generally, to cash out on an IPO and how the finances and narrative of a story are geared to look as good as possible before a stock trades publicly. IPO's are not the sexy story that the media always seems to make them out to be, and companies like Blue Apron and GoPro are perfect examples of this.
